Fabian Hale, Sr.

Fabian Hale Sr. is a native of Sylacauga, Alabama. He is married to Melody Varner Hale. They have one son, Fabian Jr., and one daughter, Imani.

His goal as a leader in the church is to lead by example and teach the Word of God. His fondest church memory is baptizing his son and daughter. The thing he enjoys most about attending Settlement Road is enjoying the unity and the family like atmosphere.

Favorite Scripture:
Psalms 121: 1-8
“1. I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help. 2. My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. 3. He will not allow your foot to be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber. 4. Behold, he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5. The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand. 6. The sun shall not strike you by day,  nor the moon by night. 7. The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; he shall preserve your soul. 8. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore”.

Lenoir Varner

Lenoir Varner Sr. is a native of Sylacauga, Alabama. He is married to Delores Slaughter Varner. They have three daughters and one son, and five grandchildren.

His goal as a leader in the church is to evangelize and save souls. His fondest church memory is the ground breaking for a new building. The thing he enjoys most about attending Settlement Road is the love shared between members.

“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
